Pay raise for ineffectual lawmakers is appalling

What kind of lawmakers would give themselves a large pay raise for a part-time badly done job?

To refuse to raise the minimum wage, so local hardworking folks could earn a decent paycheck for doing real work, is unbelievable.

Does greed and stupidity become part of one’s DNA when elected to public office? It would seem so.
